I'll report back when I've tested - set SSl up as normal, and run the line outs from the S元 into the NS6. In the review, I've asked if software meters can be added onscreen as a - I have TSI files for NS6 here - 3 different configs too. ITCH has a built in configurable limiter that does a good job of stopping things getting out of control anyway. But I do understand how 4 channel users would want meters for all channels.
I always keep an eye on the master anyway.
And while the focus of the review is ITCH, I'll spend time trying out Traktor and - I have no problems at all.

Just a nice FYI while you wait for the full - yes. So if you're in 2 minds about switching to a controller, or want a controller that can replace your mixer and happily coexist with your turntables, the NS6 should be on your shopping list. This just happens to be SSL in use, but it could be anything that uses an external audio interface. So more recent models will eat this for breakfast. And running ITCH 1.8 with SSL 2.2 at the same time worked perfectly, with no glitching or dropouts. The laptop I'm running this on is an early 2008 2.4Ghz core duo Macbook Pro. And while you can control the line fader curve in ITCH, it becomes a regular linear one when playing DVS or vinyl. Switching channels back to PC immediately gives you your ITCH channels back.Īs far as being a mixer goes, it acts just like a normal analogue affair, with full kills and a nice sharp crossfader curve. It's really simple - you just hook up SSL in the same way you would to a regular mixer and switch the NS6 to line/phono mode to use SSL, and switch to thru mode in SSL to use regular vinyl. Check out the NS6 running ITCH, Serato Scratch Live and traditional vinyl - all at the same time.
